Things to do near our East Sussex cabins
East Sussex
Everything we love about the East Sussex countryside, and our pick of things to do near the cabins. These are the walks, pubs and days out we'd plan if we were staying in East Sussex.
Your own SEEK guide, sent before you arrive, has the details for each place and how to get there from your cabin.
Walks
Seven Sisters
Walk one of England's most spectacular stretches of coastline, with the famous white cliffs rising and falling along the sea.
The Wealdway
Pick up the long-distance path near your cabin and go as far as you like. Surrounded by beautiful walks and pubs along the way.
The Long Man of Wilmington
A 72 metre chalk figure on Windover Hill. Nobody knows who made him but you can walk up past him for views right across Sussex.
Pubs
The Six Bells, Chiddingly
A classic village pub with a proper country feel. Settle in for good food, a drink by the fire and a taste of Sussex pub life.
The Gun Pub
A cosy country pub with great food and a relaxed atmosphere, the kind of place you want to find after a day out exploring.
Coffee, food & drink
The Gun Brewery
A local Sussex brewery producing small-batch beers. A good stop for a pint and a taste of the area.
Taith Coffee, Lewes
Great coffee and cakes, then a wander round Lewes. 15 minutes drive from the cabins in the car.
Days out
Beachy Head
One of the most iconic spots on the Sussex coast, with dramatic white cliffs and sweeping views out across the Channel.
Lewes
A castle, bookshops, antiques, good pubs and cute coffee shops with the South Downs rising up just beyond.
Charleston
The Bloomsbury farmhouse painted every inch by the artists who lived there.
Our East Sussex cabins
Reepicheep
Secluded off-grid cabin surrounded by wildlife.
